Val’s 80 years at SNA

Help us celebrate our very own Val Barrass for her 80 years volunteering at SNA.

We will have a pop in open invitation to anyone that wishes to come in and see Val throughout the day.

9.30am to 2.30pm

Formal part of the day will be at 12pm

We welcome all past and present SNA members for the day.

Twilight Competition Information Session

SNA are inviting members to attend an information session on how the Twilight Competition will look if Covid restrictions are eased. We will have plenty of time for questions and answers. Topics will be dates and times, umpires, uniforms, cost and volunteers needed for set up and clean up duties.

This Girl Can activities are free & low cost women’s only activities.
Bringing Netball Back In 2020 With Julie Hoornweg
“Julie has travelled the world coaching high performance teams including the Melbourne Vixens, Netball Tasmania and most recently, Wales. Julie will write and deliver this program alongside four assistant coaches. Julie’s program will be about fun and getting active on the court again with netball skills and drills, games of netball and on court skills. “
This session is for Girls aged 13 Years and Under
his Girl Can – Victoria is a campaign from VicHealth designed to encourage women to become more active – without worrying about being judged. It is about celebrating what women can do. Whether that’s a walk around the neighbourhood or a short swim, we celebrate all types of activity! We are encouraging all women to give physical activity a go or return to exercise after a break.
We want every woman to feel like she can get active however, whenever and wherever she wants, and to get something good out of it. We want more women to say to themselves ‘This Girl Can’.
